Destiny 2’s Opulent Keys are special consumable items that grant access to exclusive chests in the Haunted Leviathan. Within the Leviathan, there are six distinct chests, each requiring a different Opulent Key for opening. These keys can be obtained randomly by opening chests or by defeating formidable enemies and Tier 3 Nightmare bosses. It’s important to note that you can only carry one key at a time, and each key contains an inscription guiding you to its specific usage.

Finding the Pleasure Gardens and Royal Pools in Destiny 2
All Opulent Chests can be found either in the Leviathan’s Pleasure Gardens or at the Royal Pools. To locate the Pleasure Gardens, head to the center of the Castellum and enter the doorway on the far side of the central statue. Follow the corridors until you reach a spacious chamber.

To find the Royal Pools, locate the door on the left wall (from where you load in) of the Castellum. Descend the winding hallways until you reach a grand statue of Calus.
Pleasure Gardens: Among Opulent Key Chests
As you arrive at the Pleasure Gardens, take the first right as you descend the stairs. Look for the head of a colossal Calus statue resting on the ground. In front of this opulent visage lies the chest you seek.
Alternatively, straight ahead from the entrance, you’ll find a Calus statue. Adjacent to it, on the left, stands a statue of a loyal War Beast. Make your way to the beast and look below to discover your chest.
Pleasure Gardens: Among the Ruins
Close to the entrance of the Pleasure Gardens, descend the stairs and follow the left wall. As you navigate the terrain, you’ll find the chest positioned between the wall and a tree.
Royal Pools: Embrace Greatness
Upon reaching the Royal Pools, you’ll be greeted by an imposing statue of Calus. Walk towards it but avoid entering the room beneath. Instead, turn to your left, and there you’ll find the desired chest.
Royal Pools: Among the Stately Columns
To the rear left of the Royal Pools lie the Stately Columns. Curve around the large statue and climb onto the raised platform. Nestled between the wall and some of the most magnificent columns you’ve ever seen, the chest awaits.
Royal Pools: Where Water Used to Fall
Immediately upon entering the Royal Pools, you’ll notice a spacious room to your right. Follow the wall to your right until you locate an open door. Straight through this doorway, near the wall, you’ll find the chest.
