Dancing with the Stars Season 31 is in full swing, and the competition is heating up. With a star-studded cast that includes Jordin Sparks, Cheryl Ladd, and Trevor Donovan, this season promises to be one for the books.

The First Elimination
Unfortunately, not everyone could stay in the competition. Actor Jason Lewis and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd, were the first couple to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars Season 31. Despite their best efforts, their cha-cha failed to impress the judges, earning them a combined score of 18 out of 40. It was a disappointing result for Jason and Peta, but they can be proud of their efforts.
The Bottom Two Couples
Joining Jason and Peta in the bottom two were Teresa Giudice and Pasha Pashkov. Although Teresa and Pasha scored slightly higher with a total of 20 out of 40, it wasn’t enough to secure their spot in the competition. In Dancing with the Stars, the judges’ scores and the public vote each carry equal weight, and unfortunately, Teresa and Pasha fell short.
The Frontrunners
On the other end of the leaderboard, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio made an impressive debut, earning the highest score of the night with a total of 32 out of 40. Charli and her partner, Mark Ballas, wowed the judges with their cha-cha performance to “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion. Their electrifying routine showcased Charli’s incredible talent and potential.
Other couples that stood out during the first episode include Wayne Brady and Witney Carson, who scored 29 for their cha-cha to “She’s a Bad Mama Jama” by Carl Carlton. RuPaul’s Drag Race star Shangela and Gleb Savchenko received 28 points for their salsa to “When I Grow Up” by The Pussycat Dolls. The Bachelorette’s Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy also scored 28 for their energetic jive to “As It Was” by Harry Styles. Additionally, it was a solid performance for Selma Blair and Sasha Farber, who scored 28 with their Viennese Waltz to “Time of Your Life” by David Cook.
What’s Next?
As the competition continues, fans can look forward to the upcoming “Elvis” night in Week 2. It will be an evening filled with dazzling performances inspired by the legendary Elvis Presley.
